Booking Terms

Who you are booking with

Trips on this site are arranged by Navigator Egypt LLC, Hurghada, Red Sea, Egypt. These terms apply when you send us a booking request or an enquiry.

A booking request is not yet a confirmed booking

When you submit the booking form you are asking us to hold a place. It is a request, not a confirmed booking, and no seat is reserved until we come back to you.

We contact you — usually on WhatsApp — to confirm availability, the pickup time and the final price. The agreement between us begins at that confirmation. Nothing is charged before it.

Prices

Prices are shown in euros. Most trips are priced per person; private boat trips are priced for the whole boat regardless of how many of you come.

Hotel pickup and drop-off in the main resort areas is included in the price shown.

Groups of five adults or more receive 5% off the adult fares, and groups of ten adults or more receive 10%. The discount applies to each trip separately and to adult fares only. Private whole-boat charters are already priced for the group and are not discounted further.

The price we confirm with you is the price you pay. If something about your booking changes, we tell you what that does to the price before anything is agreed.

Payment

Most trips are paid in cash on arrival, in US dollars, euros or Egyptian pounds, or by card. You do not pay anything when you send a booking request for a scheduled day trip.

Private charters and multi-day packages are held with a deposit. We agree the amount with you when we confirm the plan, and the balance is settled before or on the day of each trip.

A few permit-based trips, such as Abu Simbel, require full payment in advance because the permit has to be bought before the day. We tell you if your trip is one of them when we confirm.

If you need to cancel

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the trip starts. Tell us on WhatsApp or by email and that is the end of it.

Inside 24 hours we may not be able to release the place, so we may not be able to refund a trip that was paid in advance. Talk to us — we would rather reschedule you to another day than have you lose the trip.

If we have to cancel

Sea trips depend on the weather. If conditions are unsafe, if the port is closed, or if a boat or vehicle develops a fault, we may have to cancel or change your trip.

When that happens you choose: a reschedule to another day, or a full refund. It is your choice, not ours.

What we need from you

Be ready at the agreed pickup point at the agreed time. Boats leave on a schedule we do not control, and a late pickup can mean a missed trip.

For trips inside natural protectorates or border areas, we need your passport details in advance for the permit. Without them the authorities will not let the trip run, and we cannot take you.

Tell us honestly about health conditions, pregnancy, or whether you can swim, before a diving or snorkelling trip. We would rather find you a trip that suits you than put you somewhere unsafe.

Follow the instructions of the crew and guides on the day. They are responsible for your safety on the water.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
