Where to go in Egypt
From the reefs of the Red Sea to the temples of the Nile and the silence of the Western Desert — explore every region we run trips in, and find the base that fits your trip.
The best places to visit in Egypt
Most visitors start on the Red Sea — Hurghada for value and variety, Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam for world-class diving, and Dahab for a slower, laid-back pace. All four are ideal bases for sea trips, diving and desert safaris.
For history, the Nile Valley is unmissable: Cairo for the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum, Luxor for the Valley of the Kings, and Aswan for Abu Simbel and a felucca on the Nile. Further west, Bahariya and Siwa open up the White Desert and remote oasis calm.

Travel tips
- Book island trips a few days ahead in high season.
- Most hotels are 10–40 min from the marina — pickup is included.
- Bring reef-safe sunscreen and a light cover-up for the boat.
Pleasant all year; spring and autumn give warm seas without peak-summer heat. Winter is mild and great for diving.
